EMRA represents authors’ economic rights, licenses usage through authorised frameworks, and ensures fair royalty collection and distribution locally and internationally.
General Information
Works represented by EMRA include creations registered by EMRA members, as well as works managed through agreements with international collective management organisations (CMOs) that authorise EMRA to represent their members’ rights in the UAE and abroad.
Once you become a member, EMRA helps protect your economic rights, monitors the use of your works, and ensures that royalties generated from licensed use are collected and distributed fairly, in accordance with UAE Federal Decree Law No. 38 of 2021 and relevant international treaties.
