If you produce and own, or control, sound recordings that are used publicly or commercially in the UAE, EMRA helps ensure those recordings are used legally and generate fair returns.
General Information
Producers can join EMRA when their recordings are broadcast or played in public and commercial environments such as radio, television, venues, retail spaces, and hospitality settings.
Once you become a member, EMRA helps protect your rights, monitors the use of your works, and ensures that royalties generated from licensed use are collected and distributed fairly, in accordance with UAE Federal Decree Law No. 38 of 2021 and relevant international treaties.
